Thursday, April 10, shortly after 8:00 p.m., Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, legendary Yes keyboardist, Rick Wakeman, returns to WRCT to join your Rockin’ Attorney, Eric Jackson Lurie, on Court’s in Session.
Completing the final leg of his One Man Show tour, Rick will be talking about his upcoming concert at the Carnegie Museum in Homestead on April 15 – which will mark his final time performing solo on a Pittsburgh stage. Rick will also discuss his new album, Yessonata which he’ll feature during his upcoming show.

WRCT will be continuing our annual tradition of broadcasting for Carnival! We will be providing live coverage of Buggy races on April 4th and 5th from about 7:30am-2:00pm. We will also be hosting a buggy preview on April 2nd from 6pm-7pm so you can tune in to hear guest panelists from the Buggy Alumni Association!

This week on Forbes Avenue, we talked to Catherine Evans to talk about her work with queer and feminist media! She spoke about the Pittsburgh scene and working with Kipp Dawson and her materials. She also had great insights from archiving and studying everyday media like t-shirts or board games or event ticket stubs. It was a really fun and informative conversation! Tune in to learn more about activism, drag, and the long seventies.
