Description: Hailing from Chicago, Bird is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist well known for his unique method of looping violin, vocals, whistling and other instruments such as glockenshpiel and guitar together. Although his early records clearly showed his influences in jazz, blues, and bluegrass, throughout his career Bird has crafted a unique sound all his own.

She started her music career touring with The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens, but went out on her own in 2007 with Marry Me.
