WE’RE BACK, BABY!

Our first ever MASSIVE MOVIE WEEK collaboration with Row House Cinema is winding down, but get pumped up for our annual MASSIVE MUSIC WEEKEND, this weekend 2/8 through 2/10!

Like past years, we’ve prepared 60 HOURS of non-stop music from our favorite artists, starting at noon on Friday, 2/8 and continuing all weekend long! Every half-hour we’ll feature a different artist, handpicked just for your listening pleasure by our own station members.

Every Friday morning, tune into Pinkney Hall. During August, you will hear music with the following themes, along with newly released music and music from artists appearing in Pittsburgh. All ​in​ the space of one hour – 9 AM to 10 AM.

August 5 – Car crashes!

August 12
– Kenny Joe will be on vacation, so you will have a surprise guest DJ or automation.

August 19 – Still on vacation.

August 26 – We’ll celebrate two August birthday boys – Elvis Costello and Van Morrison.

Pinkney Hall: July Themes

Every Friday morning, tune into Pinkney Hall. During July, you will hear music with the following themes, along with newly released music and music from artists appearing in Pittsburgh. All ​in​ the space of one hour – 9 AM to 10 AM.

July 1 – Canada Day! We’ll play songs by artists from Canada.

July 8 – Songs about eyes.

July 15 – Instrumentals.

July 22 – Kenny Joe will be out of town, so you’ll probably hear automation.

July 29 – Summer songs, including at least four versions of Summertime.
