Wednesday April 22’s edition of Whiskey Before Breakfast will have two conversations with folk artists performing in Pittsburgh in the near future.
Tune into WRCT Pittsburgh at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 22 to catch all the shenanigans! (Re-broadcast Thursday April 30 at 9:00 a.m.) Like most of the artist visits to Whiskey Before Breakfast, both interviews will be available on demand at Mandorichard’s Mixcloud page after they are broadcast.

Tune in Thursday March 19 shortly after 8:00 p.m. when Billy Sheehan, the legendary bass guitarist joins your Rocking Attorney, Eric Jackson Lurie, on WRCT’s Court’s in Session.
As the five time winner of Guitar Magazine’s Readers’ Poll for best rock bass guitarist, Billy has played and recorded with legendary artists including David Lee Roth, Steve Vai, Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs, and now his new band, The Fell.
Billy will rap with Eric about The Fell, the debut of their new single “Footprints,” and his appearance in Pittsburgh next week. At the end of Thursday’s interview, Eric will be giving away a pair of tickets to see Billy and The Fell when they appear at The Crafthouse on April 26.

This morning, Mandorichard hosted Joe Troop of Larry & Joe on WRCT’s Whiskey Before Breakfast. Joe was very engaging as he described how he, from North Carolina, and Larry Bellorín, of Monagas, Venezuela, have collaborated on joyous new music that combines the instruments, the music, and the traditions of many countries in the Americas! Mando reports that it was one of the most fun conversations he’s had on WRCT!
Larry & Joe will be in Pittsburgh at UU SongSpace on Saturday March 14 — right up Morewood Avenue from the CMU Campus!
