2024 marks the 50th year of Thor‘s career: from world class body builder, to creator of Top Ten metal hits, to a career acting in cult classic movies!

Jon Mikl Thor has a worldwide following because he started the “muscle rock” genre. Classic Rock Magazine has placed him in its Top 100 Frontmen. Thor’s stage act has included bending steel with his teeth; blowing up hot water bottles and entertaining audiences with his melodic hard rock songs.

Citing Pittsburgh as the home of the “Thor Korr,” his new album Ride of the Iron Horse is scheduled
to be released March 15th on Cleopatra Records. Because of the connection with his fans in the ‘Burgh, Thor and WRCT are both proud that the album’s title track will make its radio world premiere on Court’s in Session!!

Catch the excitement, Thursday, February 8 shortly after 8:00 p.m. on WRCT’s Court’s in Session and streaming from this very website! (A replay is scheduled Sunday, February 11, 11:00 p.m.)
